These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website and online tutoring services. By using this website or booking tutoring sessions, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services. 2. Services Lost en Traduction provides online tutoring services to students worldwide. Services may include live tutoring sessions, educational support, and communication between tutors and students. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. 3. User Responsibilities By using our services, you agree to: Provide accurate information when creating your account or booking sessions Use the website only for lawful purposes Respect tutors and other users Not record, distribute, or reproduce tutoring sessions or materials without permission 4. Age Requirement Our services are intended for students aged 18 or older. Students under the age of 18 may only use the services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using this website, you confirm that you meet these requirements or have obtained parental permission. 5. Subscription and Billing Tutoring services are offered through a subscription system. Each subscription includes a specific number of lessons per billing period depending on the plan selected by the student. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. To cancel a subscription, users must contact us directly. Cancellation will stop future renewals, but payments already made are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. 6. Lesson Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Lessons must be booked in advance via the website. Cancellation & Resheduling Students can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. To change the date or time of a subscription lesson, please cancel the existing lesson and book a new one. Trial lessons can be rescheduled directly using the reschedule button. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson will be considered used and cannot be refunded or credited. The credit will remain valid if the lesson is cancelled on time. No-Show If a student does not attend a lesson without prior cancellation, the lesson will be considered used and the credit lost. Exceptional Circumstances In special cases, including rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of a lesson, students may contact us directly to discuss possible adjustments. 7. Booking Platform Lesson scheduling and booking on Lost en Traduction are managed through the SimplyBook.me booking platform. By using the booking system on our website, users also agree to the applicable SimplyBook.me client terms related to the use of the booking service. Lesson Access and Confirmation After booking a lesson, students will receive a confirmation email containing the details of the session and a link to the Zoom classroom. The Zoom link and lesson information are also available in the student's profile area on the website. 9. Technical Requirements Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and access to the necessary software required for lessons, including Zoom. We are not responsible for issues caused by the student’s internet connection, hardware, or software. 10. Time Zones Lesson times are displayed according to the time zone indicated on the booking platform. Students are responsible for verifying the correct time in their location. 11. Intellectual Property All materials, resources, and content provided through the website or during tutoring sessions remain the intellectual property of Lost en Traduction unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or share these materials without permission. 12. No Guarantee of Academic Results We strive to provide high-quality tutoring services. However, we do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or outcomes. 13. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lost en Traduction shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. 14.
